Our intentional approach to development includes opportunities to enroll in certification and residency programs, all while walking alongside a clinical mentor. Beyond board certification, you can choose to pursue a subspecialty or even further grow into a mentorship or teaching opportunity.
Residency and Fellowship Opportunities
Confluent Health offers sports and orthopedic residency opportunities, as well as sports, orthopedic, and pain fellowship opportunities. Elevate your practice with ongoing clinical supervision and mentoring for advanced practice and scientific inquiry in order to improve your clinical practice and decision-making. These programs stress the acquisition of current best evidence to make you a specialist.
Structured Leadership Development
Interested in leadership development? Confluent Health understands the importance of providing structured leadership training and continued support to our leaders throughout the lifespan of our employees. We host an immersive leadership course that culminates in an on-site experience to assist in putting theory into practice. You will also be afforded the opportunity to engage in a yearlong leadership and management certification to further support your growth.
Employee Financial Assistance (CHEF)
CHEF, Confluent Health Employee Foundation, started to provide resources to all active employees in crisis situation, including but not limited to death, fire, natural disaster, illness, personal injury, emergency, other financial hardships. Confluent Health made an initial donation of $100,000, on behalf of the ownership team. The goal is for the Honey Jar to be 100% employee funded through voluntary payroll donations and various fundraisers. All current Confluent Health employees who have been employed by a Confluent Company for at least 6 months may apply for financial assistance and 12 months for PTO assistance from CHEF.

Yes, for full time Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists, and Athletic Trainers who have a masters degree with one of our Confluent Health partner companies, Confluent Health will match 50% up to $1,300 per year until you reach two years of service and then it increases to $1,500 per year. Our industry-leading student loan match is non-taxable up to the IRS maximum allowed and paid direct to the loan institute.
Yes, Confluent Health matches dollar for dollar up to 4% of your eligible compensation.
Confluent Health offers three medical plans to choose from based on your personal needs - one High Deductible Plan, and two PPO plans. On the two PPO medical plans, Confluent Health has free Physical Therapy visits - an industry leading benefit! The High Deductible plan has a Health Savings Account component for you to save money pre-tax. If you enroll in a HSA, the company matches set amounts based on individual and family plans. A HSA can be used to pay for prescriptions, doctor’s visits, dental and vision expenses. For residents of California, benefits eligible employees are offered two HMO options through Kaiser.
